The pursuit of natural product synthesis, driven by a profound appreciation for the inherent beauty of nature, has long been—and will continue to be—one of the most compelling research areas within the chemical sciences, and it is the central focus of our laboratory. Inspired by the intricate architectures of natural products, our research emphasizes the development of catalytic asymmetric methodologies to achieve their "ideal synthesis", while striving toward ideal modularity and structural diversity which are vital to the discovery and development of new therapeutics.
